As most of you are well aware, Dan and I have long since decided that there will be no pitter-patter of little feet at our house until we're out of grad school. That is, of course, unless you count the eight little furry feet that pitter-patter around (or, more realistically, tear around) our house already.
So, when it came to the date of our little orange boys' first birthday, of course we had a big celebration! We sent out Baby's First Birthday invitations and decorated the house with streamers and balloons. I made a cake, decorated in primary colors of course, and we bought the boys new toys (like they needed them). We even made them little party hats. Several of our friends came over and we had a great time!
Then we have spent the last few nights not sleeping because the boys love their new toys so much that they just have to play with them in the middle of the night on our bed!
